A heartbroken Nigerian has taken to social media to decry the actions of Pastor Funke Felix Adejumo that purportedly led to the end of his less than 5 years old marriage.
Talking to his followers via Facebook live stream, Amb Dion Osagie who has been separated from his ex wife; Winifred Asabor for over a year, recounted series of events that led to his wife leaving their matrimonial home in Edo State, Nigeria and fleeing to the United States, using a visa he had previously procured for her, before crossing the US Canadian border into Canada, where she presently seeks asylum.
Mr Osagie alleged, the wife of the founder of the Agape Christian Ministries Worldwide, Bishop Felix Adejumo was the brain behind his broken home.
He went further to narrate how he met and married his wife Ms Asabor while delivering a vehicle to her father; Apostle Charles Asabor, a former hotelier and night club owner, now an Edo based clergy and founder of Christ Victory Bible Church.
The couple married in a lavish traditional ceremony in Edo State, afterwards he rented an apartment and opened a business for the biological mother of Ms Winifred Asabor, who was unemployed at the time.
The marriage however took an unfortunate turn following the incessant intrusion of Pastor Funke Adejumo, who is the spiritual guide (mother in the lord) to Ms Winifred, he alleged. The Pastor and her husband received monthly tithes from his wife, and had control of her decisions.
“My wife moved out of the house after a little misunderstanding, she made false accusations against me.I didn’t know when she took her passport from the house and flew to the US with the help of her family. I was the one who processed the visa for her when we newly married. She saw that the visa was about to expire, and decided to run away. She and her family used me”, he explained.
Upon finding out his wife has crossed the border from the United States into Canada, Mr Osagie travelled to see her in a bid to save his marriage. Things however didn’t go as planned as he said Ms Asabor began having an affair with her music coach.
Mr Osagie claims they are still legally married despite his wife moving on with her new partner. He hopes to someday take spiritual action against the family of his estranged wife, to clear his name in respect to the staged video footage that went viral during the separation.
